Police say a man who went missing in Kent County in early March has been found deceased.
Richibucto RCMP had asked for the community’s help last month to locate a missing 69-year-old man from that area. Police said in a news release in March that Andre Robichaud was last seen on March 8 at approximately 1 p.m., at a residence on Route 505 in Richibucto. Police had followed up on several leads to try and locate him, but were not unsuccessful.
They released a description and photo of Robichaud, asking people to contact them if they saw him.
On Monday, the RCMP updated the news release to say that the 69-year-old Richibucto Village man reported missing on March 12 has been located and is deceased.
“Our thoughts are with his family and community at this time,” said police in the release.
